In this training we will cover Qigong theory, principle and methods, putting it into action with Qigong Forms and classical sets, including the 8 brocades and 5 element Qigong.

For those who wish to teach Qigong

This program is designed for those who wish to start teaching Qigong . You will learn the fundamentals of theory and practice so that you can deliver a fantastic Qigong class with confidence. You will learn the classical set of the 8 brocades including skills, drills and techniques on how to perform the set correctly and teach others.

For those who wish to deepen their personnel practice

The four days intensive will be held in Batemans Bay in September, dates and location to be confirmed

  • 9am - 4pm Thursday - Sunday

  • LOCATION- Eurobodalla Botanical Gardens, Batemans Bay, NSW

  • DATES TBA - once venue is Locked in i will release dates. It will be Spring 2023

  • PARKING - plenty of spots to park, and or a short taxi ride in from Batemans Bay

  • The Eurobodalla Gardens is easy to get to, just a 5 min drive out of town. Plenty of parking, an amazing café and amenities

FAQ

  • Im a total beginner, can I still do teacher training?

    Yes, you can still attend the Qigong teacher training and Immersion. You are more than welcome to attend the trainings to experience Qigong and immerse yourself in practice for your own personals development. You don't have to teach afterwards. However after developing a personal practice you may feel ready, willing and able to teach.

  • What's the Assessment contain?

    To obtain the teaching certificate for level Qigong, 8 Brocades you will need to attend x8 online training sessions, complete a practical demonstration (in person, via zoom, or recorded), and complete the online theory exam.

  • Im an experienced Qigong partitioner, should / can I still attend

    Consider this a level 1, or beginners Teacher Training and Immersion with a focus o the basics, fundamentals and most importantly PRACTICAL study and practice (no fluff) . We will only briefly be covering some of the deeper, internal Qigong theory and more esoteric teachings and focusing primarily on the 8 brocades Qigong set. it is always great to learn and practice with others and welcome other teachers and practitioners to attend

  • Can I just do the 4 day Immersion?

    Yes, absolutely. I've designed the 4 day immersion for those who simply wish to deepen their personals practice. The additional teacher training modules is there for those who wish to teach Qigong.

  • Will I get a certificate?

    Yes once you have attend the 4 day immersion, and completed the additional Techer Training Module.

  • Will there be coffee

    Yes There is a café located at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden with all the yummy foods.

  • What should I bring to the immersion?

    You should wear loose comfortable clothes. There will be a combination of indoor and outdoor practices. The theory classes will be held indoors, so bring along a notebook and pen. There will be tables and cahirs, but feel feel to bring along a yoga matt, and bolster if you prefer sitting on the ground

  • Can i just to the teacher training module

    No You will need to complete the 4 day immersion first.

  • Is Accommodation included in the Immersion?

    No The Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden dosnet not have any accommodation on site. however its a quick 5 minute drive from Batemans Bay CBD and there are plenty of hotels and air bnbs in the area.

Hello, Im Drew, Exercise Physiologist, Acupuncturist, and Qigong Teacher and Ill be taking you on your 4 Day Qigong immersion. I first started practicing Qigong and Tai chi back in 2000 when I had Chronic fatigue Syndrome as i heard it good to build's up your energy. After 6 months of Qigong trainings I was back to full health and then spent the next 8 years studying with various Taiichi and Qigong Masters, whilst completing dual degrees in Exercise Science and Chinese Medicine. Since then I have worked in both public and private allied health, and currently run a private Exercise Physiology and Acupuncture studio where I focus on Exercise Medicine, teaching Qigong, Taichi, Yoga, breathwork practices in conjunction with modern Exercise Rehabilitation techniques.
